What is a Full Bleed?
When printing goes off a page it is called a full bleed. To achieve this effect you need to extend your artwork 1/8th inch around your current page size. For example a business card is 3.5 inches by 2 inches, so to print to the edge you would need to extend your artwork to be 3.75 x 2.25 inches. Your artwork then would be cut down to the 3.5 x 2 inches to achieve that full bleed effect.

What is Close Registration?
Usually when 2 spot color inks or more are closer than 1/32nd of an inch to each other or touch then that is close registration. There is an extra fee for close registration because the printing has to be monitored and carefully adjusted when being printed. Full color printing generally doesn't have close registration fees. If close registration is an issue then you will be contacted first before the project gets printed.
